20 million ESL are managed on our Saas platform in Australia.
No. Each ESL is powered by an internal battery, so no external wiring or power connection is required.
Up to 10 years, based on typical usage conditions (e.g. two price updates per day and 30 minutes of LED flashing). ESL has passed battery stress testing to ensure long-term reliability.
ESLs use a low-frequency narrowband wireless communication protocol, which is completely separate from standard in-store Wi-Fi networks (which operate on broadband frequencies such as 2.4GHz or 5GHz).
This means:
No interference with your existing Wi-Fi
Stable and reliable data transmission
No impact on store internet performance
Single label: typically, within 30 seconds / Full store update (e.g. ~10,000 labels): approximately 30–60 minutes
Updates can also be scheduled or triggered instantly from the system.
An AP (Access Point) is a dedicated ESL control device installed in-store.
It connects via PoE (Power over Ethernet)
Requires an internet connection to sync data
Communicates directly with ESL tags
Importantly, the AP is not part of your store’s general network usage—it does not support activities like web browsing or video streaming. Its sole function is to manage ESL communication.
Total Lead Time
The overall lead time is typically 13–18 weeks from the date of purchase order (PO), depending on project scope and stock availability.
Project Execution Timeline
From planning through to implementation, the project typically takes up to 8 weeks (Refer to below chart).
This includes:
• Planning & design
• System configuration & integration
• Hardware delivery & setup
• Final installation
Yes. We offer a full turnkey installation service, delivered by certified professional installers.
This includes:

An ESL supports up to 8 pages, including functions such as price display, inventory information, and out-of-stock alerts.
